I recently shared some Canon 7D HDR bracketing tips. Below is a video tutorial to help demonstrate a couple of tricks that I use to capture a 5 or 7 image bracketed series HDR. If you are not familiar with the term “HDR”, check out my HDR Tutorials and Examples.

Thanks for sharing. Will try it this weekend. Keep Posting HDR Tutorial. Love it.
Nice workaround, but it is pathetic that Canon does not simply write firmware with more bracketing flexibility.
I will be upgrading from a m43 camera to an APS-C and will probably go to Nikon because of this. (D300).
Too bad, I would have wanted to go with Canon.
Awesome. Thanks for explaining it. Have had the 7D now for about a year and am looking into trying something new for fun. Am usually only taking horse-sport shots with it.
Hi. Thanks for this very useful tip. Working formidably!
Very helpful. I just purchased the 7D and looking to move into outdoor HDR for a more dramatic effect with landscapes.

Very clever, a little ticked that I didn't think of this myself.
